African Society for Laboratory Medicine

Websites

Overview

Creative2 designed and developed a responsive website for the African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM) - an independent, international, not-for-profit organization working to advance the laboratory medicine profession and associated networks throughout Africa.

Responsive Layout

The site includes an edge-to-edge, responsive layout and integrates video into the homepage hero for subtle motion. Different effects and motions were utilized across the site to help give the site a unique and modern feel.

Content Driven Design

ASLM had a vast amount of information on their organization and services, so unique designs were created for each page and section to help best display and convey the content for each area throughout the site

Map and Tool Integration

ASLM had many existing maps and tools available to display information about the organization and their resources that Creative2 took and integrated into the website.

Resource Centre and Publications

ASLM's prior site contained many resources for users to access and was home to the archive of their magazine. Creative2 helped ensure that all of ASLM's existing resources and publications were migrated over to the newly built site and presented in modern and interesting formats that gave users ease of access.

ASLM Membership

Being an organization focusing on maintaining and creating new members, ASLM's existing membership opportunities were integrated into the new website by allowing individuals and organizations to sign up and receive the benefits of being an ASLM member. The site also includes member only functionality such as a forum for ASLM members to communicate.
